..... that's what the gentlemen at the polling place here in Hedgesville told me when I was inside.. He's right you bet I wanted to vote. I have NEVER missed an election since I turned 18. In fact the day I turned 18 I spent an hour of my 18th b-day at the Boone County Courthouse registering to vote. IN the few months leading up to my 18th b-day I researched my party affiliation. My parents well let's be honest my entire family in fact are all registered Democrats. Well the Democratic views weren't really views that I could align myself with. So I registered as a Republican.
When I married into Stan's family I was the only Republican, until my sister-in-law Emmy came along and joined the family, and stood in my corner. Since then Stan has jumped ship, and I am proud to say we are a republican family, Although this election I wish I could've voted for Hillary Clinton, Why you may ask... HELLO Like John McCain is a better choice. I personally wished I could've voted for Mike Huckabee. I did, but obviously that vote will not really count.
Explaining the voting process to my 5 soon to be 6 year old little boy, that was a daunting task. However the kids were good, and had their picture taken outside the polling precinct.
